Give Me A Sign

Just a sample of some funny signs at a cafe. Enjoy!

Sea World

"The sun does wonders for my complexion".

"Here I am showing off my new addition - a 300 pound baby".

"I am the Walrus, koo koo kachoo".

"White is the new black".

"Zoom, zoom!".

Can you guess each of the underwater animals featured above???

Polar Bear Sighting In Florida

Although later in the year I will offically travel within Canada to see the Polar Bears in the wild, this has been my first Polar Bear sighting in the Northern Hemisphere. The last time was in Singapore, at the zoo. I've also included a fact sheet for you to study up on. There will be a quiz later in the year! (Just joking) This polar bear is housed at Sea World Orlando, Florida. However, he or she must have been on a 'go-slow' as not much was happening.

Universally Random!

A few random images from my week in Florida. Lots of random things to see. But what's not random is that you cannot photograph many of the attractions. So therefore I have randomly chosen four photos from my digital camera for you to view. Tha last image is not random. It was one of the non-random sponsored attractions at Epcot - Disney World, where you had your photo taken (obviously not a random act), then you morphed your image. Me, I chose a cat - Meow!

Boarder Crossing

Here we come USA. For March break I headed to Orlando, Florida. Remember, when in Canada, do the 'canadian way'. So where do all Canadians travel to for March break? You guessed it - FLORIDA. Just a few happy snaps whilst driving over the bridge which separates Windsor, Canada from the Detroit, USA. Note the speed sign.

Curling: Part II

cont...
I am now bragging. As you can see from the first photo I am standing proudly with my best shot of the night. My 'rock' is the blue one situated closest to the 'tee', which is the centre point of the 'house'. And more than likely as I recall, it was my only good shot for the whole night. But hey, a positive beginning eh! The second image is a device used to measure which teams' 'rock' is closest to the 'tee'. I mean this is a serious sport in Canada, and so a serious device is required to measure. Oh, again I'm bragging, my team won that end.
