'07 Prom

As per school graduation protocol, the celebration most anticipated by high school students is what we know as the 'Formal' or in Canada 'Prom'. It's one of the moments when you recognise the transition students are making from their existence as students to young adults in the 'real world'. As you can see there are many similarities to home. The venue, the dresses and tuxedo's, plus MC's (a teacher and his wife, dressed as Mexican's. They were asked if they were professional dancers, we all doubled over in laughter.) It was a night planned months ahead, unfortunately to be over in hours, but remembered for years.
