I am now bragging. As you can see from the first photo I am standing proudly with my best shot of the night. My 'rock' is the blue one situated closest to the 'tee', which is the centre point of the 'house'. And more than likely as I recall, it was my only good shot for the whole night. But hey, a positive beginning eh! The second image is a device used to measure which teams' 'rock' is closest to the 'tee'. I mean this is a serious sport in Canada, and so a serious device is required to measure. Oh, again I'm bragging, my team won that end.
